Looks like Kristin will be hosting a new event on the 6th of December. Hopefully we will have some new pictures! Check it out:
PROMISES star Kristin Chenoweth will host “A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power” at the New York Public Library on Monday, December 6, 2010. The event is presented in conjuction with USA Network’s Characters Unite Month, New York City’s non-profit storytelling organization, The Moth, and is part of a national series of five Character Unite Mainstage showcases, which launched its first tour in New Orleans this year. Denver, Seattle and Chicago are among the next stops.
Each event will feature local and celebrity storytellers sharing a true tale of overcoming prejudice or discrimination. Participants include Most Def (A TRUE MAN OF COLOR), Simon Doonan, Wes Moore, Aimee Mullins, Sirdeaner Walker, and more.
The event trains high school students in each of the five select markets to tell their own Characters Unite-themed stories. After-school workshops culminate in an all-school storytelling assembly, in order to start a dialogue about important issues of diversity, tolerance and respect. USA has also created custom school kits for teachers in high schools across the country that will include storytelling activities based on The Moth workshop series.
Kristin has been quite the busy bee lately!! Yesterday, November 21 2010, she was honored, along with Sean Hayes, a Portrait on the Fame-Wall in NYC. She looks amazing as always, and the portrait is very neat. Check it out in the gallery. Enjoy!
We will have many more gallery updates soon, as I try to fill in the holes of other images we are missing. I will also try to add all the Pushing Daisies screencaptures soon.

Looks like Kristin is getting in the holiday spirit of helping people. She has signed up for another worthwhile cause with ShoeDazzle.com, this time benefiting the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute. This charity means a lot for Kristin, since she was adopted herself. Check it out:
Diminutive star Kristin Chenoweth is known for her sky-high heels, and now she’s putting her shoe savvy to work for a good cause: The Promises, Promises star has designed a limited edition gray suede-like bootie for ShoeDazzle.com, with 100% of the profits earmarked for one of her favorite charities, the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute.
Chenoweth’s signature shoe, dubbed “Little Diva,” is described as a tribute to the 1960s setting of her hit musical revival. The star “found inspiration for its curvy, voluptuous design in the demure sexiness of vintage styles,” according to a news release. The bootie will be available for purchase on December 7.
The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute is a national not-for-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of children and families through development of better adoption-related policies and practices. An adoptee herself, Chenoweth serves on the Honorary Board of the institute and recently received a congressional Angels in Adoption award for her commitment to the cause.
ShoeDazzle previously offered a pink pump benefitting the breast cancer charity Susan B. Komen for the Cure and partnered with Kristen Bell for a nude heel with proceeds to the Art of Elysium.
Looks like Kristin is now set for another worth-while charity! She has teamed up with Maddie’s Corner, which is an organization to help animals. Check out the details:
Stars from stage and screen have autographed and outfitted stuffed animals to support Maddie’s Corner, the charity founded by Kristin Chenoweth, and its “Dogs Do Pink” campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness. The animals are being auctioned online , and bidding runs through December 9. Proceeds from the auction will support both The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Right Action for Women.
In addition to Chenoweth, stars who have contributed their efforts include Bebe Neuwirth, Kathy Griffin, Christina Applegate, Kristin Bell, Rachael Ray, Stacy London and Chely Wright.
Named in honor of Chenoweth’s dog, Maddie’s Corner celebrates the bond between people and their pets while giving support to animals in need and groups working on their behalf.

Looks like we will have some new event photos on the 15th! Check it out:
Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, under the direction of Francisco J. Núñez, will perform at the unveiling of the 2010 Christmas Windows at Lord & Taylor (424 Fifth Avenue) at 5:30pm on Monday, November 15.
Chenoweth is currently starring on Broadway in Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and received a Tony nomination for Wicked.
Chenoweth received the Emmy for her work on Pushing Daisies and has been seen as April Rhodes on the FOX series Glee, for which she has received an Emmy nomination. Her films include Four Christmases, Deck the Halls, and You Again.
Looks like Kristin just might be starring in a new tv show?!? Check it out:
Having heard the news that Glee creator Ryan Murphy is at work devising a TV pilot for Promises, Promises star (and frequent Glee guest) Kristin Chenoweth, Broadway.com caught up with the Tony winner on the red carpet at opening night of The Scottsboro Boys to beg for details.
“There’s none that I can say or I’ll be killed,” the always cheerful actress said. Chenoweth did admit that she’d love to recruit Broadway co-star Sean Hayes, who’s no stranger to sitcom scene-stealing thanks to his long run in Will & Grace. “Boy I’m going to make him,” she said of Hayes. “I stayed on Broadway for him, so he owes me!” the actress joked, referencing her decision to extend in the musical so she and Hayes could close the show together as Fran Kubelik and Chuck Baxter.
As the popular revival heads toward a January 2 closing date, Chenoweth reflected on her experience in Promises, Promises. “It’s nice that a show that basically got ignored by the critics is loved by the people. It taught me a lesson that it’s all about what the people think. We love it, and we’re getting better and better each performance.”
As for her post-Promises plans, Chenoweth will again return to Glee this spring. While rumors swirled that the actress would perform a striptease, she said she doesn’t know what the episode holds in store for her character April Rhodes. “I don’t know and I don’t care. Ryan Murphy has me run the gamut, which I love so much. In my first episode, I did a country song and a Broadway song!”
One thing Chenoweth is sure about: her love for The Scottsboro Boys. After the show’s opening performance the actress took to her Twitter page to praise the latest work from her Steel Pier composers, John Kander and the late Fred Ebb. “Here are three words for you: The Scottsboro Boys. One of the best nights of theater in my life,” she said. “Tonight’s experience of The Scottsboro Boys makes me so proud to call myself a theater girl. At the curtain call I was sobbing. Not crying. Sobbing. I loved every morsel of this piece.”
