Since Kristin has won Broadway.com’s Star of the year award, they have created a portrait of her as well! You can view in our gallery by clicking on the image to the right. Check it out:

Every week, Broadway.com resident artist Justin ‘Squigs’ Robertson delivers character-based portraits of stars as they appear onstage in Broadway’s hottest shows. His assignment this week was a bit different: Create a portrait that captures the overall fabulousness of the actress chosen by Broadway.com readers as Star of the Year for 2010: Ms. Kristin Chenoweth. Squigs tackled his assignment with gusto, and the result is an artwork that does justice to a Tony-winning star and her excellent year on stage and screen. Congratulations, Kristin.

Kristin is all about giving back, and now she has joined up with another charity to raise money for a good cause. Check it out:

Because giving back is always in style: Little Black Dress Wines kicks off another year supporting two great charities – Dress for Success and Clothes Off Our Back Foundation – through its annual celebrity little black dress and autographed wine bottle auctions. Just in time for awards season, bidding begins January 17 (the day after the Golden Globes ceremony) and ends March 1, 2011, (after the Academy Awards air).

Celebrity contributions for the 2011 auction have already started “pouring” in: from Rachael Ray, a Donna Karan LBD; autographed bottles of Little Black Dress Wines from the famously fashionable including Shoshanna Gruss, Olivia Palermo, Simon Doonan, Kristin Chenoweth, Scott Disick, and model Tyson Beckford, among others.

Since kicking off its popular LBD auctions in 2007, some of Hollywood’s most well-known stars including Sharon Stone, Tina Fey, America Ferrera, Jenna Fischer, Jaime Pressly, Edie Falco, Felicity Huffman, Julianne Moore, Kim Cattrall, Nancy O’Dell, Teri Hatcher, Lisa Kudrow, Chloe Sevigny, Angie Harmon, Jane Seymour, Laura Linney and many more, have helped raise over $125,000 for charity by lending their support to Little Black Dress Wines.
